Fans of Japanese animation age 11 through adults are invited to the Albany Public Library’s Anime Club meetings from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month to play Yu-Gi-Oh and other games, share books, practice drawing in the Japanese style, and meet others with similar interests. At the May meeting, there will also be an informal Magic tournament for those who bring their Magic cards. Kids younger than age 11 may attend if accompanied by a parent.
Participants are encouraged to bring snack foods and drinks to share. Anime Club meetings are free of charge, and no registration is necessary. For more information about this program, call Young Adult Services Librarian Doris Hicks at 541-791-0015, or e-mail email@example.com.
