Albany Public Library celebrates 100 years of Library service

The Albany Public Library is celebrating our centennial year. The Downtown Carnegie Library, located at 302 Ferry St. SW, was dedicated on June 26, 1914. Although many things have changed at the Library and around Albany since then, our commitment to providing excellent service to the community has stayed firmly in place. Learn more about the history of the Library.

Special events will take place all year long; the Uncorked wine tasting in Feb. was the first of many events celebrating 100 years of Library service. Here’s to another 100 years!
