Begins June 1!
Albany Public Library is going online for our summer reading this year! Go to cityofalbany.beanstack.org to register yourself and your family for our reading challenges that begin on June 1st. As always, the Summer Reading Program is fun for all ages!
How to get started:
- If you can participate online, please do. Beanstack is online, and it is also available as a mobile app. If you’re a grown up, go to Beanstack and register yourself, and then you can register everyone else in your family. Once they are each registered, they will receive a welcome email, and they can take a look at challenges and activities for the summer. Our program will start on June 1st, just like always!
- If you cannot participate online, paper logs can be picked up outside the South entrance of the library (the side with the Reading Girl statue) after June 1st. If you need other locations for pick up, or you’d like one mailed to you, give us a call at 541-917-7582 and we will get you paper reading logs.
Although we can’t have all of our fun programs this year, we are still planning for a prize pick up time where you can receive prizes, a few cool virtual events, and some community-wide activities as well.
Last year we had 3,762 readers sign up, and 3,047 got all the way to the end! It’s a different sort of year, but let’s do our best to keep reading in Albany all summer long.
