Begins June 1!
Albany Public Library is going online for our summer reading this year! Go to cityofalbany.beanstack.org to register yourself and your family for our reading challenges that begin on June 1st. As always, the Summer Reading Program is fun for all ages!
How to get started:
- If you can participate online, please do! Beanstack is online, and it is also available as a mobile app. We recommend the app, it makes tracking much easier! If you’re a grown up, go to Beanstack and register yourself, and then you can register everyone else in your family. Once they are each registered, they will receive a welcome email, and they can take a look at challenges and activities for the summer. Our program will start on June 1st, just like always!
- Paper logs can be picked up during curbside and browsing appointments after June 1st, or call us at 541-917-7582 if you need alternative arrangements. Below are links to printable paper logs:
- Two prize pick up weekends (July 17-19 and August 21-23) and you can pick out your own books again this year!
- This year, we are working together as a city to read 4,000,000 minutes in one summer! What an amazing number, and the library believes that we can get there. Stop by our display window as the summer goes on to see exactly what four million looks like.
