Logging in to online account

If you are experiencing difficulty logging into your online account please try the following:

  • Refresh your browser and clear all history including cookies and cache.
  • If you use a bookmark to navigate to the library website, please re-bookmark our site so that you have the latest version found at
  • If you use a bookmark to navigate directly to the library catalog, please re-bookmark the catalog at
  • Your library card number must be entered in all caps (ex. PALBO000123456); if your computer remembers your card number, you may have to re-enter it.
  • Your default PIN number is your 4-digit birth year in YYYY format (for example 1975).  If you changed your PIN to include letters, it may be in upper and/or lower case letters.
  • If you have forgotten your PIN please call 541-917-7581, send an email to, or stop by the library to have your PIN reset.

I would like to keep a list of my previous check-outs

  • Log into your online library account
  • Choose the “Account Preferences” tab
  • Choose the sub-tab “Search Preferences”
  • Click the check box next to “Keep history of checked out items?”

The list begins keeping track of what you’ve checked out from that point on (it doesn’t work retroactively).  To see the list of items you’ve previously checked out:

  • Log into your online account
  • Choose the tab “Items Checked Out”
  • Choose the sub-tab “Check Out History”

Logging into Library2Go

All patrons should be able to log in and use Library2go.  It is important to enter your card number correctly when logging into Library2Go; you must enter your entire library card number, including the letters PALBO, with no spaces between the letters and numbers.
