LIBRARY CODE OF CONDUCT 

Be Respectful  

Shoes and Clothing are Required at All Times 

Children under 10 years old must be supervised 

No weapons, tobacco, alcohol, or drugs 

 

The Albany Public Library is an essential resource promoting community, life-long learning, and quality services in a safe, welcoming space. 

 To serve our mission, the Albany Public Library is open to everyone. All are welcome to use the Library’s services and resources. Everyone is expected to behave in a way that does not unreasonably interfere with others’ use of the Library.   

The Library’s Rules of Conduct are intended to maintain a considerate and orderly atmosphere, preserve easy access to Library services and resources, and to protect Library property. People who willfully violate these rules are subject to exclusion from the Library.
