Marionette troupe

Every summer, the Albany Library Marionette Troupe performs an original show using stringed puppets at the Downtown Carnegie Library. Local youth who will be in grades 6 through 12 next fall are invited to join the Troupe beginning in May 2008. Registration is free, no auditions are required, and participants will receive a black Troupe Tshirt. Rehearsals will be held the week of August 4, 2008 at the Downtown Carnegie Library, 302 Ferry Street SW. Troupe performances are scheduled at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7 and 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 12, 2008.
Both shows are free for audiences of all ages, with no registration required. For more
