Modern Voices Reading & Discussion Group

The Modern Voices Reading and Discussion Group was created by popular demand from readers who want to participate in a daytime group.

Modern Voices meets monthly on the third Tuesday at noon in the meeting room of the main library. The group reads and discusses books of all kinds, including fiction and nonfiction. Everyone is welcome to join the discussion.

Bring your lunch or indulge in one of the treats provided by the Friends of the Albany Library.

Albany Public Library Book Discussion Group

The purpose of this book group is to read a variety of books and share your thoughts about the readings. So if you love books and enjoy talking about them, you are in the right place!

The group meets at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month in the meeting room at the main library. Everyone is welcome to attend and discuss the current book the group is reading. No registration is necessary; just show up with your ideas and enthusiasm. There will be 12 copies of the next book selection available for loan at each meeting.
