Donate to the Albany Public Library Foundation

The Albany Public Library Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to improve the Albany Public Library facilities, provide an endowment to support Carnegie Library operations and projects, and support special library programs and services.

Special projects that need your help:

  • Scholarships for nonresident library cards; library cards can be expensive for the more than 800 families with children who live outside the Albany city limits.
  • Carnegie renovations such as basement upgrades of windows, floors, painting, and new electrical wiring; upgrades to modern window air-conditioners;
  • new Library fixtures.
