Teen Nights at the Library

Pizza, movie, crafts!  Check out the calendar for upcoming events.

Teen Volunteers

If you are a student who will be entering the 7th grade this fall, the Albany Public Library would like to invite you to be a volunteer! If you can picture yourself helping young people with arts and crafts, assisting library staff with set-up and tear-down of events, or working to provide a great experience for library visitors, please download and fill out a Youth Volunteer Application and bring it to either Albany Public Library branch! Although volunteers offer their time free of charge, there are still many benefits. A library volunteer acquires valuable experience and job training  that looks great on resumes, while also getting a behind-the-scenes look at public service and library related careers. You will meet interesting new people of all kinds, many of whom share your interests, and make new friends. The Albany Public Library is both a mirror of the local community and a window to the world, and we would love your help!
